Igniting Passion for Fitness and Community.

We are a group of enthusiastic CrossFit enthusiasts from Great Britain with roots in Copenhagen and Svendborg. After participating in and loving several CrossFit events in the UK, we were inspired to create our own unique event here in Denmark. We knew that Svendborg was the perfect location for our vision of creating something similar to the events we had enjoyed in the UK.

With lots of courage and a "learning by doing" approach, we jumped into the project. The fear of failure was overcome by our passion and dedication to create something extraordinary. We are not afraid of the challenges along the way - we see them as opportunities for growth and development.

So who are we really? We are dreamers, we are creators, we are adventurers and we are ready to share our passion for CrossFit with the world through the Svendborg Beach Throwdown!

Meet Dina, the driving force behind Svendborg Beach Throwdown! @dinapstreet

With a background in logistics in the Armed Forces, as well as experience as a certified personal trainer and CrossFit coach, Dina has always been passionate about both fitness and event planning. Together with her husband, Robin Street, the idea for the Svendborg Beach Throwdown came about after many years of participating in similar competitions in Great Britain. They saw an opportunity to create something special in Denmark - and Svendborg, with its scenic surroundings, felt like the perfect place for an event where community and competition can be united by the beach.

Dina balances her practical experience with new theoretical insights through a mini MBA in business, which gives her a solid base for creating an event where every detail is well thought out. With her understanding of both the fitness environment and event coordination, she has helped shape the Svendborg Beach Throwdown into a completely unique event.

Her love for the community and for Svendborg is evident in all aspects of the event. With a focus on bringing people together and creating good experiences in the most beautiful surroundings, she has been decisive in choosing Christiansminde Strand as the home of the competition. Here, both participants and spectators get an experience where the atmosphere is just as important as the competition.

Svendborg Beach Throwdown is more than just a competition – it's Dina's passion for combining fitness, community and joy of life in a way that gives a very special beach atmosphere.

Head Coach / The man behind the woman

Robin Street

Meet Robin, "Excel Wizard" behind Svendborg Beach Throwdowns workouts and Head Coach in our team! @streetyrd

With an impressive background as a former soldier in the English Royal Engineers where he served for 8 years, Robin brings a unique combination of discipline, structure and expertise to our event.

On a daily basis, Robin works as an engineer and Product Manager, where he focuses on developing the company's structure and creating innovative solutions. His methodical approach to work and design is reflected both in his daily responsibilities and in the creation of our intense workouts for the Svendborg Beach Throwdown.

As a CrossFit Coach, he is our members' biggest fans, he is passionate about motivating and inspiring others to achieve their full potential. Together with Dina, they share the two proud parents of two boys aged 7 and 2 respectively, which Robin considers his favorite job in the world.

Robin's passion for fitness, his experience as a soldier and his ability to think strategically make him an invaluable part of our team. With his leadership and dedication, we are sure that the Svendborg Beach Throwdown will only become even more spectacular under his guidance.
